A new competition challenge is about to get under way on the POEM@home project. Its called the "Bigger POEM-Athon" and it will run from the 1st to the 30th of June 2008. This competition is being organised by Rechenkraft.net. Make sure you get your team entered on time to be part of the fun. You can register by posting a message here or read about it here.

I have started a discussion on the BOINC message boards about the complete Unification of BOINC and ALL the projects involved in it. The discussion is to see if this is possible or to explore other possibilities to see what can be achieved.

Team Canada has just clocked over 5 million on the ABC@home project. The Canadians seem to be doing the full A to Z on the BOINC projects, well done guys!. Read about it here.

SETI.Germany just blasted their way through 900 million in total BOINC credit. SETI.Germany are now just a stones throw away from the billion and i sense they will be crunching hard to try take the No.1 position in the world from SETI.USA.
