Tell me your team rank

Postby John37309 on Wed Apr 18, 2007 6:16 pm

Tell me your team rank

I have created some "Rank Colors" so that people visiting know what status you hold on your team. Please do reply to this message and tell me what rank, if any, you hold on a BOINC project team. Then i will make your user name that color. None of the rank colors give you any extra functions on this forum, they are just to let others know what involvement you have in a team.

:!: :!: These are the colors that i have created
Please click reply to this message and tell me what one matches your highest rank on any of the BOINC projects you run. :!: :!:

1. BOINC Team Founder/Admin Image (This one if you are a founder or some kind of shared founder-ship. Or if your team founder has promoted you to "Admin" on a project.)( As you can have many founders on one team on different BOINC projects, its OK to have several members of one team marked in RED.

2. Team Leader/Activist/Helper Image (This one if you help your team in any way at all. Even if you just really enjoy your team)

3. On a BOINC TeamImage (This one if you don't really help, but would just like to be part of this forum)

4. Not on any team Image (Not on any team but you would still like to take part in this forum)

I also actively encourage you to put something in your signature to identify the team you belong to. Its just helps people to get to know who you are and what team you are from.

Administrators and Moderators on this forum will be selected by your level of participation on this forum.

These are the identification colors for the Admins and Mods on THIS website.
Boincteams.com Administrator/Team Founder; Image
Boincteams.com Moderator/Team Founder; Image

Please don't chat in this message. This message will become very large in time.

Try to just post your "Team Rank" and then you can start a new message to tell people about yourself and say hello.

Or you can post a quick "Hello" in this message; Say hello, tell me what you think!
Lots of people posted a quick hello there! But post your rank first.

Thank you.

Rubbish Modesto, you have been helping your team in the team recruitment section of the seti@home message board. That makes you a valuable member of your team. And for that you get the Blue rank for Team Activist. :!: :!:

Well done for helping your team :!: :!:

Welcome to the BOINC TEAM LEADERS FORUM Modesto

Team Founder of team mauisun.org, any colour will do me.

Rosseta@home mainly, participate in a few others testing them out.

Previoulsy more interested in Find-a-drug (and a bit of good old seti before that) but we crunched too fast a FaD and did everything and beyond what was needed (but all very useful).

Team members don't find boinc that interesting bar a few, probably as the project forums are normally quite poor and the project peopel tend not to be very intereactive with the memebers.
I suppose it's lack of information directly to what they are doing, plus BOINCs not so nice user interface, give them a nice Windows interface that they are used to and they would be much happier.

But you'll find me whipping them every now and again, in the dev lists and at Rosetta.

Fluffy, you are well up on this stuff. Start some new disucssion topics here in general messages about what you just said here. I would love to chat more about what you are talking about.

I just want to keep this message for team rank stuff.

Founder in some of the newer projects for SETI.Germany, but not the founder of S.G, and not the admin of the HP:
Belgian Beer, BRaTS, Cosmology, Docking, Lattice, malaria, SciLINC, IMAP, Spinhenge, Zivis

But the Team Leader/Activist badge would fit as well. Could it be alternating red and blue, like Saenger?

This is my first post here so - Hello everyone.
I'm a newsman in BOINC@Poland but from 1 august 2007 I'm also - Team founder of RmvBusterS.pl - this is quite new and young team from Poland. But I think - that for me is more important to be Newsman in B@P than founder of this (RmvBusterS.pl) small team.
